With twelve years of experience in teaching western dance forms and also Indian Classical Dance form Kathak, Santaly Sarkar is a certified Zumba Instructor and a member of ZIN. She has taught more than 10000 students and been their guiding source in the field of Dance. Over 200 commercial shows, charitable shows events & workshops have been held by her to date.
 
She is an established choreographer as well as director of SANTALY’S Dance & Music Academy. Her prowess in dance can be seen in her completion of M.A in Kathak & also securing Ph.D. She is trained under Guru Luna Poddar, Pandit Bachan LalMishra, Pandit Shyamal Maharajand Guru Amar Raj Basnath & Birju Maharaj. Apart from Kathak, she has 9 years of training in creative dance forms from Ananda Shankar Academy. She is also an exponent of Italian Bachata from Daniel&Silvia from Italy. She has been involved with grooming students for the Dance performances in reputed schools of Kolkata (such as Ashok Hall Group of Schools, St. Sabastian’s School, etc.)
She has also worked as an assistant dance director in Tollywood.
